Our Social Purpose
Sanskriti Junction is a purpose-led social enterprise dedicated to bringing offline culture, wellness and community together. Through cultural dance, music, yoga, meditation, traditional games, creative arts and school-holiday programs, we create welcoming opportunities for children, families and the wider community to learn, participate and connect.

Purpose in Action
We keep our activities affordable and provide free community experiences wherever our resources allow. This has included free performances, Garba classes, yoga sessions and traditional games at community and council events.
Since 2022, Sanskriti Junction has delivered more than 20 free community performances, provided free Garba classes for more than 100 children and women, and contributed more than 1,000 volunteer hours to training and event organisation.

Removing Barriers to Participation
Sanskriti Junction removes barriers to cultural participation by making creative, wellbeing, and community experiences more accessible, inclusive, affordable, and welcoming for everyone.

Our Commitment to Community First
As Sanskriti Junction grows, we are committed to reinvesting the majority of our surplus into advancing our social purpose. Our decisions will continue to be guided by four principles:
Purpose before profit. Community benefit remains central to our planning, partnerships and use of resources.
Accessible by design. We work to reduce financial, transport and participation barriers wherever our capacity allows.
Surplus with purpose. The majority of surplus is intended to strengthen and expand our social-impact activities.
Impact that matters. We value participation, belonging, wellbeing, skills and connection, not income alone.
How Future Surplus May Be Used
Future surplus may fund subsidised classes and costumes, transport assistance, creative materials, free wellbeing activities, affordable school-holiday programs and workshops led by experienced artists and musicians. These investments will help more people participate, especially those who may otherwise miss out because of financial or mobility challenges.
How We Measure Success
For Sanskriti Junction, success is measured not only by the income we generate, but by the people we support, the barriers we reduce, the opportunities we create and the stronger, healthier connections we help build across our community.
Our goal is to build a community where children can learn with confidence, families can celebrate together, artists can share their knowledge and every participant feels welcome and valued.
